Pumpkin Bread a Fall Favorite!
One of my favorite fall recipes is Pumpkin Bread. My mom used to bake it and I have carried on the tradition. Pair it with your morning cup of coffee, tea or my favorite a latte and it is the perfect fall treat!
It is an easy recipe and turns out perfect every time. You can see by the condition of my copy it has been used quite a bit.
Start off mixing the sugar and oil.
Add in the beaten eggs and pumpkin.
Mix all of your dry ingredients together flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, ground nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon and ground cloves.
Gradually add the dry mixture and water with the wet mixture. Alternate the dry mixture and water till it is all mixed well.
This recipe will make two loafs. Perfect if you want to give a loaf as a gift, one for you and one for me! Pour mixture into two greased and floured loaf pans and bake at 350 for approximately 1 ½ hours.
You can eat this plain or add cream cheese which is my favorite. Enjoy!
